Study Shows Alternative Pain Management for Procedures in Children

Physicians usually recommend medications to ease pain before and after procedures. A new study shows that alternative ways such as the kangaroo procedure, a pacifier or swaddling a child, can ease pain.
The study showed significant reduction in pain for the kangaroo procedure and pacifier.
