  1. Decide who is responsible the different parts of care (i.e. medications, doctor appointment etc.)
  2. Make sure medical team understands the relations in the support group
  3. Make sure your health care providers educate you about the illness and what to look for as positive or negative signs
  4. Discuss your life goals with your healthcare team (i.e. school, work, graduations etc.)
