Media Free Zone for Better Sleep

Author: Dr. Maida Chen, MedSchoolForParents.com Expert
Media can prevent a child from falling asleep or prevent them from getting optimal sleep.
Top Tips from Dr. Maida Chen, medschoolforparents.com expert to help improve sleep quality:

  1. Institute a media free zone in their room (no computer, TV, cellphones). This allows the brain to rest and relax prior to sleeping
  2. Limit screen time to 1-2 hours a day
  3. Spend quality time like reading a book or having conversations prior to bed, instead of using electronics
