When One Pill Can Kill in Children

Children grab anything they can see, which can rarely lead to fatal effects. Although a short list, certain drugs can cause death in a child upon consumption of just one pill.

  1. You must know what is around a child. What medications do grandparents, uncles, cousin etc. use?
  2. Keep all mediations locked up and out of the reach of children
  3. Know that one pill can kill a child. Here are a few examples:
                   Antidepressants (tricyclic)
                   Digoxin (cardiac drug)
                   Chloroquine (malaria drug)
